needlepoint!

When you blame your abandoned craft projects on missing needles and broken sewing machines, everyone knows you’re spinning a yarn.

Really stick to it with custom canvases from Rittenhouse Needlepoint. The local biz creates hand-painted designs based on your interests (pets, sports, favorite photos). You don’t have to be Martha to complete them; colors are arranged paint-by-numbers style, so you know just where to sew. Still, pros can show you the ropes at free Saturday classes.

Finished flat projects can be transformed into rocking chair cushions, pillows, tote bags, and wall hangings.

That’s a stitch.
