She’ll hack mom jeans into cute cutoffs, rework unflattering necklines, and turn decades-old throwaways into designs you’ll actually wear.

What a Gem
When you think of top-notch jewelers, cool biker dudes don’t typically spring to mind. Hence our pleasant surprise upon meeting Mark Haug (726 Sansom Street, suite 204; 215-922-4333). The badass jack-of-all-trades fixed our most treasured heirloom (Granny’s golden bangle) in a jiffy. Our only regret? Not being offered a ride on his Harley.

In Search of a Sole Mate
If shoes say everything about the girl, then it’s clear we have loads of fun — and lack cab fare. After a round of rowdy nights, we wore the heels right off our favorite pair. Luckily, Dom’s Shoe Service had them looking like new in time for the weekend. Bonus: These pros repair bags and craft custom kicks.

When Things Are Unraveling
It’s no secret your wear-everywhere sweater has seen better days. Best take it (and other shabby hangers-on) to Rosie’s Yarn Cellar for a little TLC. Though moth-ravaged ones will have to be chucked, the staff’ll happily restore worn elbows, repair shoulders, and generally spruce things up. Or book a private lesson, and they’ll show you how to do it yourself.

Hemming and Hawing
