Get Your Grub On at Plenty

A Charming South Philly Deli

pasta and meatballs!

Sometimes the best things in life take time.

Just ask former lawyer and bartender Jesse Spalletta and Adam Baas, who clocked major hours transforming a defunct deli (overhauling the space, rehabbing original ’50s fixtures) into a charming neighborhood gem.

Chef and onetime food writer Tim McGinnis also rolled up his sleeves to perfect laborious, old-school methods of butchering, curing, and smoking. Much of his refined comfort food is made (with love) from ingredients sourced nearby. We recommend the mesquite brisket and pasta with meatballs, though herbivores can get in on the action with veggie jambalaya and seasonal soups and salads.

Order meals to go or gather around the communal table. Instant gratification is just one bite away.
