From your CSA to the PTA, local is your way of life.
Chef Josh Lawler agrees. After earning praise at several New York hotspots (Telepan, Blue Hill at Stone Barns), he’s returned home to open The Farm and Fisherman.
Lawler describes the menu at his debut restaurant as a snapshot of the Delaware Valley’s changing seasons. Right now that means New Jersey croaker with red-eyed peas and Lancaster County chicken with verbena-scented carrots sourced from nearby co-ops and farms.
The cozy BYO is only a short walk from The Foodery’s sprawling beer selection, which makes picking up a few bottles for dinner a breeze.
Sometimes the best things really are right around the corner.
