Bright Light Designs Is a Shining Star

Limited-Edition Rings, Necklaces, and More

bright light designs jewelry!

Spending thousands on custom jewelry isn’t in your stars.

Bright Light Designs — soon to be renamed Meagan Reelitz Designs — a line of limited-production and custom pieces, bridges the gap between Forever 21 and Cartier princess jewels.

Heavily influenced by indigenous art, Reelitz channels geometric wonders at her Oakland studio. Handcrafted creations (all named for celestial bodies) are made using mostly recycled metals and conflict-free gems. Our faves include the Delphinus, a brass necklace with bold plating, the domed sterling silver Alpha Cenatauri ring with a tiny black diamond, and the circular cutout Volans earrings.

Stunning works of wearable art are available ready-made, but custom pieces are encouraged. Want the chain two inches longer? No prob.

And you can shop guilt free knowing that a percentage of the company’s annual profits are donated to Youth Speaks, which is pretty brilliant in our book.

Available at Wonderland SF, 2929 24th Street, between Florida and Alabama Streets (415-641-4600 or wonderlandsf.com); online at brightlightdesigns.com, $75-$630.
