Chefs’ Night Off at Radius
What: Husband-and-wife team Sarah and Evan Rich (formerly of Michael Mina and Coi, respectively), along with Coi pastry sous chef Maxime Pouvreau, put on a monthly pop-up dinner ($60; wine pairings extra) that will make you wish they were full-time.
Why: A menu that’s simple on paper, outstanding on the palate (chilled corn soup, black cod, chicken pappardelle, goat cheese semifreddo).

Cheese and Wine Dinner
What: Americano hosts this combo cheese-making course and wine discussion with Medlock Ames, followed by a four-course, family-style meal on the patio. Cost is $90.
Why: Freshly pulled mozzarella tastes even better when paired with produce from Ames’s sustainable garden.
When: Tonight, 5:30 p.m.

Casablanca with the San Francisco Symphony
Take your plus one for the ultimate date night, as the symphony performs a live score of the fabled romance.
Why: Bogart and Bergman deserve an opus.

Tomato Masters Class
What: Get your green thumb (or lack thereof) down to Santa Cruz for a crash course in successful backyard tomato growing, with lessons on fertilizing, pruning, and soil health.
Why: Imagine all the Caprese salads to be had.

SF Wine Crawl
What: Sample from ten-plus urban wineries (including Fat Grape, Morningwood, and Treasure Island Wines) at this annual crawl. Take the VIP shuttle for the ultimate winery-hopping experience.
Why: Sometimes Sonoma is just too far.
