There once was a man named Jasper O’Farrell,
His taste for food and drink was quite virile.
He surveyed the land,
Tied one on when he can,
Hence Jasper’s namesake at Taylor & O’Farrell.
Hail the return of the historical patriarch and legendary SF surveyor with today’s opening of Jasper’s Corner Tap & Kitchen, which pays homage to his appetite for food, drink, and enjoying both socially.
Greet O’Farrell himself upon entry; his portrait is one of plentiful works based on the city by local artists. He would suggest a spot at one of the many gathering points: the sleek wood bar, cozy semicircular lounge area, or bright yellow communal table — all primed for sharing a bite of upscale tavern fare (warm pretzel with cheddar and beer fondue, deviled eggs, a shrimp salad roll).
Or toast to Jasper himself with one of eighteen beers on tap or the Grand Promenade cocktail.
Historically speaking, it’s a good move.
