Subject: Gravel & Gold Goods, the shop’s debut line
This is a courtesy memo to inform you that Gravel & Gold has finished the final details on its inaugural collection of limited-edition tanks and dresses.
Consider cancelling your Friday-night plans to attend the kick-off bash (6-9 p.m.) at the Mission boutique in order to peruse the goods at your earliest convenience: flattering, wearable tanks and dresses in solid blue or black raw silk noil (known for its nubby texture), or a hand-screened, limited-edition print (lovingly dubbed Panda Face for its characteristic swirls — part Bauhaus, part playtime) on brushed organic cotton.
Note that the shop gals have been busy; every piece was sewn at the boutique (overseen by tailor Holly Samuelsen) or a makeshift studio behind a friend’s farm stand in lovely Bolinas.
Homegrown. Just the way you like it.
Available at Gravel & Gold, 3266 21st Street, between Valencia and Mission Streets (415-552-0112 or gravelandgold.com).
