Italians do some of our favorite things better than anyone else: eating carbs, making hand gestures, smooching.
So it’s no surprise that they’ve taken fro yo to the next level. Check out Yogorino, soft opening on Chestnut tomorrow, to see what we mean.
The latest outpost of the Italian chain serves just one flavor of tart, tangy yogurt, made with unrefined sugar (instead of corn syrup). The creamy stuff also has six strands of probiotics and, magically, doesn’t feel chilly when it hits your mouth. Choose from a multitude of toppings, both cold (seasonal fruit, crushed hazelnuts from Piedmont, imported Italian sprinkles) and warm (melted Toblerone, warm almond or walnut sauce).
Unlike the outpost recently opened in the Embarcadero Center, the Marina location also has more than twenty flavors of real-deal gelato, made fresh in the morning.
And that’s what we call love, Italian style.
