Curve Comes to Fillmore

The New Boutique Brings In the Big Guns

curve boutique san francisco!

We’re generally not ones to name-drop, but when you’re rubbing ’bows with Christopher Kane, Alexander Wang, and Isabel Marant, it’s no time to be tight-lipped.

No, Fashion Week in SF didn’t just get amazing (if only). But your chance to mix with industry heavy hitters is here — at newbie Curve, now open on an especially well-dressed stretch of Fillmore.

Founded by former stylist Nevena Borissova, the boutique retailer calls San Francisco its fourth home after debuts in L.A., NYC, and Miami. Thankfully, the recipe hasn’t changed much: The shop carries prime selections from industry darlings, some you won’t find anywhere else in town (Mugler, Gareth Pugh, Balmain), plus up-and-comers for a healthy mix of high and low.

Accented with modern touches (clean, bold furnishings, raw concrete walls, and faceted mirrors) the former Kiehl’s space provides a dramatic background for sculpted silhouettes. And the stylist-only staff is there to make it all work.

They’ve hobnobbed with Elle, Vogue… Oh, there we go again.

Curve, 2360 Fillmore Street, at Washington Street (415-885-4200 or shopcurve.com).
