It’s official: Indian summer has arrived. And according to the forecast, it’s not going anywhere.Celebrate accordingly with a frozen treat ($2.50) from the Bomb Truck, now peddling gourmet pops (a.k.a. Bombsicles, for those in the know) in the Mission. While we wouldn’t necessarily suggest frequenting street corners, on the next sunny weekend (this coming one, perhaps?), post up at the corner of 20th and Valencia and wait patiently for a sea foam green ’61 Econoline van with a petite brunette at the wheel.Barbara Villegas uses farmers market produce to concoct unique flavors: limeade cucumber mint, strawberry ginger lime, and cantaloupe with almond milk for a creamy fruitiness that’s all vegan. The most original are adaptations of her mama’s recipes (horchata, cafe de olla, and flan with an oozy caramel topping). You can even opt for a private party, complete with boozy licks like lavender mojito, sangria, and Long Islands. She’ll even deliver to your door (just text her your name, address, quantity, and desired flavors; five-pop minimum). You could say they’re the bomb.Locate the Bomb Truck, Friday-Sunday, 1-6 p.m., on 20th Street, at Valencia Street (415-758-2662 or bombtruck.com).
