A.Anthony Designs's Spring 2012 Collection

Ladylike Standouts Made in the Bay

a.anthony designs!

After its season finale, you want to be all things Downton Abbey. But period dressing isn’t your thing.

Play the modern lady in A.Anthony Designs’s spring collection, now available online. The first of self-taught designer Anna Anthony’s lines made in the Bay Area consists of feminine pieces that charm even the douchiest of dukes.

Anthony creates wearable, covetable clothing, finding inspiration in friends and family and turning it into items fit for today’s transitional needs. The Danielle dress in yellow or black floral brocade with an updated peplum waist turns party-going heads, but it’s suitable for work when topped with a blazer. Try on the prim Erica and Allison blouses in periwinkle polka dot or a geometric print for a demure yet on-trend addition to colored denim.

Each design is a limited edition, but summer brings new styles and fabrics.

Yet another season to hold out for.

Available online at etsy.com or ustrendy.com, $150-$275. To see the lookbook (shot on location in San Francisco), go to aanthonydesigns.com.
