Local Edition Opens
What: The wise guys behind Bourbon & Branch and Rickhouse are at it again with a cocktail lounge in the basement of the Hearst Building. The former Examiner printing room pays tribute to the newspaper and publishing industries with vintage typewriters and historical archives on display, and old-school printing equipment throughout. Craft cocktails (culinary highballs, updated classics, and bottled punch) inspired by the ’50s and ’60s are named after paper magnates, Hearst icons, and historical events.
