Some drinks are easy to fall for.
Such is the case with Twenty Five Lusk’s seasonal libation created just for DailyCandy readers. Pop by the restaubar to enjoy a kicked-up version with sweet apple foam, ginger tincture, baked apple-flavored bitters, and apple crisps marinated in vanilla-infused apple brandy.
Ginger Bourbon Apple Cider
1½ oz. bourbon
½ oz. lemon juice
½ oz. simple syrup or agave syrup
¾ oz. ginger syrup (try The Ginger People Organic Ginger Syrup)
¾ oz. Benedictine
2 oz. apple cider (use warm cider or make it a bracing beverage with chilled hard cider)
Dash of bitters
Sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg
1. Combine all liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
2. Shake gently and pour into a brandy snifter or Belgian beer glass.
3. Dollop whipped cream on top; add cinnamon and nutmeg.
4. Garnish with an apple slice, sprig of mint, and a cinnamon stick.
