The Great White Way

Sometimes you feel like a (coco)nut

new coconut treats!

Dreaming of an island escape may mean you need to carve out more alone time. Or at least clear space in your pantry for a more exotic start to your day.

Hey Boo Coconut Jam
Think you’ve exhausted all the ways (sipping, smashing, spooning) to devour the fruit? Wrong. San Francisco jam company Hey Boo slow-boils sugar, cage-free eggs, and coconut milk to create a nutrient-packed, sticky-sweet smear ($11). Spread it over toast, coat crackers, or drizzle over waffles.

Dang Coconut Chips
Master shredder Vincent Kitirattagarn successfully skirts the line between sweet and savory by adding sugar and salt to dehydrated copra (i.e., coconut meat) and lightly toasting the strips. Although addictive on their own, try sprinkling the crunchy bites ($3-$5) over Greek yogurt or mixing with cereal or granola.

Sweet dreams are made of these.
