We asked for his take on a timeless drink, just in time for the holidays.
2 oz. Rittenhouse Rye 100
2 dashes Angostura bitters
2 dashes Angostura orange bitters
1 dash Fee Brothers old-fashioned bitters
1 bar spoon demerara syrup (2 parts brown sugar to 1 part water)
1. Stir rye, bitters, and syrup together.
2. Strain over a big ice cube in a double rocks glass.
3. Garnish with lemon and orange twists.
4. Go ahead, give it a whirl.
