Clear Up at Acqua e Sapone Aesthetics

A skin care center for troubled complexions

acqua e sapone aesthetics!

Your latest quest to save face has felt more like a scavenger hunt (toothpaste, honey, ointments) than a solution.

Detour to Acqua e Sapone Aesthetics, a new downtown skin care center dedicated to clearing up troubled complexions.

Years of unsuccessful treatments and prescriptions prompted founder (and longtime cystic acne sufferer) Kimmy Williams to seek a holistic remedy. After getting her California Esthetics license, Williams received specialized training in the Face Reality method of acne treatment, an extensive program that combines coaching and consultations with procedures and products.

Today, she applies her know-how to sharing acne education, administering mild chemical peels and thorough facials (no skimping on extractions), and customizing regimens with products from Acqua e Sapone’s in-house line.

Sessions begin with a closer look at your diet, current skin care routine, and lifestyle. Williams’s mix of skin care specifics (what to cut out, ingredients to avoid) and personal experiences made our consultation feel friendly not formal.

Our treatment, which included a light cleanser and hydrating mask, left our skin looking restored after a holiday season heavy on cookies and drenched in champagne.

Game over, pimples.

Acqua e Sapone Aesthetics, 222 Columbus Avenue, at Pacific Avenue (415-871-0237 or aesbeauty.com), $160 for an initial two-hour treatment; $110 for follow-up visits.
