Truth: You never quite got over playing dress-up, telling secrets, and having imaginative afternoons with your BFFs.

Dare: Relive your glory days on a trip to Electric Blanket, a vintage store/art gallery/community creative space where everything old is new again.

After realizing it was now or never for opening her dream shop, owner and self-proclaimed lover of all things vintage Jillian West left her job at Twitter in pursuit of more passion-filled pastures. West’s vision: an artsy den, filled with beautifully curated special vintage pieces, where kindred spirits could commune.

Outfitted with rainbow-colored glassware, taxidermy, an old-school fridge stocked with the shop’s zine and tote bags, and homemade baked goods, the space is just how we imagine Zooey Deschanel’s playhouse would be.

Shop a mix of ball gowns (pretty is West’s preferred aesthetic), printed dresses, and suede heels; or head to the next room and leave your feelings on the chalkboard wall, but not before scoping out the collection of art referencing emotional messages.

You’ll have the time of your life.
