What's in Store?

Throwing great parties for great causes that are slamming successes time and time again would be more than a full-time job.

For the ordinary person, that is.

But for the cool kids behind Vintage 415, events were just the beginning. Next up: Dylan, the just-opened women’s boutique in Russian Hill. Not the most likely venture for four straight guys, but once again, they’ve struck gold.

The racks are filled with garb by Catherine Malandrino, Ya Ya, Jill Stuart, Theory, Miguelina, Vince, Pegah Anvarian, and Development. The shelves are stacked with basics from Clu, Generra, Cosabella, Park Vogel, and Ladies of the Canyon. Also on hand are vintage T-shirts, Goldenbleu and Bianca White handbags, and jeans (Joe’s, Paper Denim, James, Ernest Sewn, and True Religion). Oh, and the decor: A gorgeous chandelier hangs above a vintage couch reupholstered with Paul Smith fabric, which sits atop a cowhide rug.

Out of the ordinary? Hell, yeah.

But that’s what these guys do best.

Dylan, 1506 Vallejo Street, at Polk Street (415-931-8721).
