Getting Warmer ...

Ah, summer. Sunshine. Lounging at the beach. Ice cream. Dining al fresco. Sundresses.

Alas, we San Franciscans aren’t quite so lucky. For us, June through August still means spray tans, snuggling, and sweaters. (Not to mention the appalling amount of fleece.)

No need to grin and bear it; someone’s finally caught on to our needs. Lilja, a new collection of tops, dresses, and skirts made of sweater material, has a beachy, playful look but still fends off the cold. In other words, it’s perfect for Bay Area weather.

Each design is made of baby alpaca or lightweight cashmere and comes in a pretty pastel. They’re the perfect complement to a shoulder-baring top, letting you feel sexy while keeping you cozy.

Looks like this could relieve our wardrobe woes.

Until, of course, September rolls around.
