Some things are just deal breakers.
For dogs, it has to be high-pitched barking. For guys: hair plugs. For wine: twist caps.
Back up, there. You might reconsider the last one on that list after your first sip of Twin Fin, a new label created by Hugh Reimers and Sam Burton, two surfers who love wine — but hate the oneo-attitude that so often goes with it.
Which is not to say that laid-back equals inexperienced. Their merlot, shiraz, cabernet, chardonnay, and pinots are made from the finest Central Coast grapes. Twin Fin’s logo (a surfboard hanging out of a convertible), price (ten bucks a bottle), and twist cap make a bottle (or three) perfect for the beach, a BBQ, or a picnic.
And if you’re still not convinced, consider this: A portion of the proceeds go to the Surfrider Foundation to help preserve oceans and beaches.
So hop to. Twist the night away.
