Some opportunities come around only once in a lifetime. The trick is knowing the difference between the duds (Cousin Wayne’s latest pyramid scheme) and the scores (unexpected ticket to the Oscars, anyone?).
Thankfully, jewelry designer Robindira Unsworth knows how to spot the winners. When a chance to attend a royal Jordanian wedding materialized before her, she packed her bags.
We’re certainly glad she did. The journey — which took her to Amman, Petra, and the Dead Sea — inspired her latest jewelry collection of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings.
The Jordan line features bold pieces made of metal beads and semiprecious stones. The India collection uses vibrant colors and metals, while the Big Sur line is reminiscent of the rugged landscape and blue-green waters of Northern California’s coast. And the limited-edition London collection showcases Unsworth’s signature designs and delicate metalwork with a sophisticated edge.
But don’t wait for a special invitation to wear these.
Any day is the perfect opportunity.
