A Cinderella Story

Wendy Tyndall Custom Furniture Design

Once upon a time, there was a really ugly table.

Oh, sure, it had the requisite four legs and flat top. But all the other tables used to laugh and point at it because it had a bad finish and, thus, was stuck in a dark corner all alone. And it was sad.

One day, it was hauled out of the house, and the other tables assumed it was off to the dumpster to die a slow, painful death. Little did they know, its owner had heard about the amazing Wendy Tyndall (i.e., Fairy Godmother to Furniture), and the table was placed in her care for an extreme makeover.

Tyndall repainted it a lovely green, marbleized the top, gilded the edges, hand-painted an intricate design with monkeys on the front, and added a touch of chinoiserie to complete the look. The stunning table was unrecognizable and looked like a true antique that belongs in a fancy Pac Heights mansion (although its price tag was insanely reasonable).

Back home, it became the focal point of the living room. Guests oohed and aahed over it. And all the other tables wished that they could be as beautiful.

But because they had not been to Wendy Tyndall, they had no legs to stand on.

The end.
