If You Don’t Nomi by Now …

Potrero Hill beauty buffs are a rare, valiant breed.

Faced with a dearth of services in their immediate environs, they’ve boldly made the trek to Union Square for their facials.

Well, no longer, friends. It’s time to luxuriate on home turf at the new Nomi Day Spa.

Naomi Schwartz, formerly of Relax Now on Fillmore, is a one-woman show with magical hands and a homey Zen-like space primed for pampering. Stealth pimples, bushy brows, and flaky skin are no match for the skin care goddess who prides herself on treating each client’s unique visage. Following in the tweezer tracks of her Hungarian-born, aesthetician mother, Schwartz gives good face — and good wax (Brazilians in twenty minutes flat).

Facials rule at Nomi, though, and dewy-fresh skin is your reward no matter which treatment you choose. There’s the quickie Daydream facial and the heavenly 70-minute Nirvana facial, which includes a glycolic peel or enzyme boost, aromatherapy, and a back massage.

All of which means it’s just a matter of time before Cow Hollow babes start commuting to Potrero for their spa fix.
