And at the Mission’s new home store, Aldea, it’s even encouraged. Set up like someone’s apartment, the boutique is full of furniture and goodies from around the world.

Peek behind Saltbox shower curtains and touch the plush Koo Koo towels. In the living room, sit your bum on Palecek cowhide stools and Anthony Brozna’s salvaged ecofriendly furniture. Head to the dining room and handle Claude Dozorme cutlery, Love Plates with adorable polka dots, and DK Living place mats. The boudoir shows off Galbraith & Paul chandeliers (no touchy touchy).

And don’t forget to stock up on beauty products by Ahava and Simone France from the bathroom area.
