Your appetite runs like a Swiss clock.
If you don’t eat by 1 p.m., you’re liable to go cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs — or whatever’s left in that picked-over basket of muffins lying around.
Don’t hoover it all just yet. Call Lunch-In, a new catering service that delivers freshly made lunches to your office — like a baguette with aged cheddar and avocado, harissa-spiked Moroccan tuna, or chef Gina’s version of bánh mì — roasted chicken, carrot, daikon, cilantro, and jalapeno. Heat up soups in the microwave and stash mini chocolate chip cookies in your desk for that afternoon blood sugar low.
There’s a $50 minimum, so get co-workers to join in. (Everything is neatly labeled so Dave in accounting can’t accidentally nab your Greek salad.) Order for the week or just the next day; Gina will kindly send you a reminder to get your request in before noon the day prior, so you’ll never find yourself dying of starvation at 2 p.m.
Which, as we all know, can be rather alarming.
Available by phone order (415-678-9727) or e-mail info@lunch-in.com. For more info, go to lunch-in.com.
