Going the Distance

Creativity Explored Website

Long distance relationships are tough. On one hand, it always feels like vacation when you’re together. On the other, you can never be sure what he’s up to when you’re apart.

Creativity Explored, the venerable 24-year-old visual arts center devoted to helping artists with developmental disabilities, knows how to keep in touch. They’ve just launched a new website with the goal of giving people who don’t live in the Bay Area (or simply can’t make it in) the same experience they’d get at an in-person studio visit.

Each artist has a dedicated page with an extensive bio and photos of his or her work. Read journal entries by text-based artists like Michael Bernard Loggins and John Patrick Mackenzie on the evolving studio blog.

You’ll stay in the know about upcoming gallery sales and are encouraged to share your thoughts with fellow art lovers.

Because communication is everything.
