Goodwill Hunting

There’s no shortage of talented Williams in the world. Shakespeare, Tell, Slick (as in Willy).

Add William Good to the roster.

The new line of repurposed clothing finds designer Nick Graham in cahoots with Goodwill, making a positive contribution to society and your closet.

Each piece is a one-of-a-kind original created from recycled donations. Ecogeeks, that means minimal environmental impact.

Styles range from basic cardigans and plaid kilts tricked out with felt appliques to wackier, artistic designs, like a biker jacket with glove epaulets and emergency engagement rings shown with a pencil skirt cinched with a rabbit fur satchel and tasseled suede belt. The Moschino-esque Not So Little Red Riding Hood coat and black strapless heart dress: one of the tamer ensembles.

The flagship boutique opens tomorrow inside the Goodwill on Fillmore Street.

Will you be there?

William Good, 1669 Fillmore Street, at Post Street (415-354-8570 or shopwilliamgood.com). Hit the opening party tomorrow, 6-8 p.m. Park at the Japan Center.
