Generally speaking, you’re down on the Dutch. (Smelly farts suck. Ditto for splitting the bill on a date.)
But SFC Double Dutch classes might just change your mind.
Formed by the Double Dutchess performance troupe, they start with the basics of single rope and double Dutch. Once you’ve got those, learn easy tricks like Up the Ladder. And if you can master that, get ready for fancy footwork in the form of the Donkey Kong and the Slurricane.
Classes are held Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons; there’s an open jump the first Saturday of every month. July’s is in Golden Gate Park — and it’s totally free.
So there’s no excuse for not learning the ropes.
