We’re always up for a challenge. Whether it’s tracking down Skeet Ulrich for a reader (apparently he totally knows who she is). Or finding a stylish siren in the land of cheese.
While Ulrich’s proven to be a bit elusive (call us at 212-555-STALK), we located a Wisconsin gal with impeccable taste (an equally daunting task).
Jeni Crawford took her background in interior design and launched Rian Rae Interiors, an impeccably curated online home decor shop. Her aesthetic of mixing antiques with repurposed modern pieces makes for an interesting selection of things you won’t see elsewhere.
Bamboo Cloud chandeliers have a rustic, contemporary feel, while mango wood mushroom storage boxes double as art and are totally unique. The neatest find, though, just may be the wood-carved deer that’s slick enough to display year-round but especially jazzy with some lights around the holidays.
Crawford is constantly updating the site with new wares, so check back often.
And be prepared to drop some cheddar.

Rian Rae hasn’t delivered on a $475 order my wife placed in June. Their website has been down for “maintenance” for over a month. The owner finally responded about a month ago saying she would look into the issue but nothing has happened. At this point we are so frustrated and have requested a refund and threatened legal action. We've done some research this weekend and it appears we are not the only victims. Will see what happens.
