The ethereal head ornaments are pieced together by a design duo in a Cow Hollow studio from vintage chains and random odds and ends scoured from flea markets and garage sales — deconstructed watch straps, mink tails, keys, and even car parts.

The resulting effect is boho gypsy-meets-The Neverending Story princess.

Litter also makes a line of chain suspenders and is working on a collection of shoe jewelry, which should be ready in a few months.

Now that’s a trash-to-treasure story we’re happy to spread.
