Used to be you were nobody till somebody loved you. Now you’re nobody till you sign up, sign in, and somebody writes on your wall.

Which could be why the Mi team declined a sign (and clothing labels, for that matter) for their new Tendernob boutique.

Mi (pronounced my), an anti brand name collection, is the latest brainchild from local designer Dean Hutchinson. The appointment-only space essentially acts as a sample showroom for extraordinary custom-made men’s and women’s styles.

Exquisitely tailored jackets and coats are the standouts of the androgynous (and mostly achromatic) Helmut Lang-meets-Jil Sander line. They’re pricey but painstakingly constructed to your exact specifications (down to color and fabric choice) — and you can wear some styles in a variety of ways.

Meaning they’ll always fit your profile.
