The Corner Restaurant Opens

You like to live on the edge, but it can be a slippery slope — literally (broken heels) and metaphorically (paycheck to paycheck).

Play a new angle at Timothy Holt and Peter Hood’s new joint, The Corner. The concept: a tightly edited menu of wallet-friendly edibles and bevvies in a chill setting.

The dudes behind Weird Fish and Boogaloos opened their artsy bistro — complete with bird-stenciled walls, cozy wood tables, and a mezzanine dining area — in a former Mission fish market.

Quaff Belgian ales, organic ciders, and vino while sharing prosciutto-wrapped baby asparagus and flatbread pizza. Think outside the box for brunch with eggs Benedict served on cornbread muffins and balsamic strawberry crepes. Soon, you’ll even be able to sit outside.
