Spring? If your mini hadn’t plucked you a dandelion bouquet, you’d have breezed right through it.
Time to give the great outdoors another look. Tomorrow, Hillary Blum and Melissa Walton — two moms trained in environmental education — launch Wonderbug Adventures, a new nature discovery program that takes kids (ages 18 months to 4 years) and parents on creative park safaris in the Bay Area.
Guided outings in Glen Canyon, Lake Merced, and Stern Grove bring the life cycles of creepy crawlies and backyard birds into focus. An initial lineup of seven varied programs (bug hunts, art projects, songs) will have you and your little hatchling clamoring to return.
There’s no mistaking the call of the child.
