No one likes a show-off.
In the case of your last Mother’s Day card, twentysomething brothers Trent and Rhys Carvolth have just one-upped you, big time.
The Santa Rosa natives (and food industry neophytes) loved their mother’s homemade cream puffs so much when they were growing up, that they’ve opened a bakery to share her family recipe with the masses.
Located in Cow Hollow, Pacific Puffs offers airy confections with three fillings: traditional vanilla, rich chocolate, and whipped cream topped with seasonal fresh fruit (currently strawberries). Because they’re local boys, the Carvolths also offer Sebastopol-based Taylor Maid Farms organic coffee and tea.
So go get your afternoon sugar fix or, better yet, hand deliver a few to Mom.
Because you care enough to send the very best.
Pacific Puffs, 2201 Union Street, at Fillmore Street (415-440-7833 or pacificpuffs.com).
