Gravel & Gold: I’d like an upgrade. I’m just a shoe box-size vintage clothing boutique in the Mission, but I want bigger, sunnier digs to display my smartly edited mix of ’70s-chic threads and housewares from both past and present.

CSR: We’ll see what we can do. What would you like to add?

G&G: I’ll have a new, exclusive Gravel & Gold line in collab with Al’s Attire in North Beach, featuring a denim Irish driving cap, an oversize carryall, and a men’s canvas shirt. Plus vintage finds from Dior, Lagerfeld, and Marimekko, and accessories like gold clutches from London and Japanese canvas-pressed notebooks.

CSR: (getting carried away) Such special features!

G&G: Oh, and a dressing room that doubles as a DJ booth for weekend events. And a pillow-strewn front couch for lounging in the Mission sun.
