Maybe opposites really do attract.

Sarah Borruso, whose debut collection, Stars + Ravens, just launched online, clearly agrees. The SF native and Parsons grad plays seamlessly with juxtapositions, marrying Victorian-era style with sinuous Summer of Love looks.

Her silk georgette Tie and Untie dress mixes a bold geometric shape with flirty straps that can cross at the back or tie at the neck. And just for kicks, she adds a dash of ’80s punk — like the oversize safety pin on the cashmere East Meets West cape or the Now shoulder bag’s metallic-linen exterior and blazing neon-pink interior.

All in all, the opposing elements make for an ultra-mod look.

And that ain’t fiction, it’s a natural fact.
