What: Back in 1799, the UES spot was actually a rustic retreat from the city (which didn’t extend above 14th Street). For one night, you can tour the decorated carriage house by candlelight.
Why: Ghost stories. And the eerie feeling that you’re not alone.

Gods and Heroes Halloween Party
What: Dress like one, then attend for live performances (The Very Best), hip-hop on vinyl, dance music from DJ phenoms (17-year-old Kyle Hall, local fave Small Change), and the open bar (all night).
Why: The $35 ticket, sweating, and melted face paint will benefit Charity Water.
