Name: The Box SF
Objective: To become your new, all-purpose day and nightlife, event, and art space in the heart of SoMa.
Qualifications: Located in the original William Randolph Hearst printing plant, my airy 2,800 square feet house thirteen-foot ceilings, exposed wood and concrete, gigantic windows, and a dramatic table made from 325-year-old village gate doors from China. And, perhaps most importantly, a bar.
Experience: My owner, entrepreneur Mark E. Sackett of Reflectur, holds networking nights every Monday. He also throws intimate concerts with bands from his record label. Right now, I’m open only when there’s an event, but that may change.
Special Skills: Hosting private events (weddings, birthday parties, corporate retreats, etc.).
