The Academy of Art instructor and Levi’s vet draws inspiration from sculpture to create garments that are at once soft and structured. Our favorite piece — this strapless, white silk dress with a detachable leather overlay — illustrates her sweet-meets-tough sensibility: The bodice is feminine; the harness adds edge (and can be worn over your favorite white tee).

Although most of her succinct collection is done in stark black and white, there are a few shocking red numbers, including a knockout (and definitely daring) cutout dress. Wearing it just might make you feel 17 again.
