The Indie Session
What: Peruse locally made art and fashion, learn capoeira basics, and hit the martini bar at the ultimate indie fundraiser.
Why: The $5 donation and drink proceeds benefit the Maculele Brazilian Arts Foundation.

New Menu at Long Bar
What: Top Chef alum Erik Hopfinger (formerly of Circa) revamped the resto’s dinner offerings to include hearty dishes like Brussels sprouts salad with soft-poached egg; butternut squash risotto with spiced mascarpone; and mini beef-and-lamb patties with feta, cucumber and tomato relish, and yogurt dip.
Why: The Beverages with Benefits happy hour, Mon.-Fri., 5-7 p.m., with $3 drafts, $5 wines, and $6 well cocktails, including the Moscow Mule (vodka, fresh lime juice, ginger beer).
