Raj Tents

raj tents!

Don’t deny it. You’re a princess. And that means certain things simply have no place in your life. Comfortable shoes. Cubic zirconias. Tents.

Unless it’s from Raj Tents. Modeled after India’s Mughal tents, each is handmade in Rajasthan and works for anything from intimate dinners to weddings.

Choose from smallish Pergolas (9 by 9 feet) to medium-size modular Maharajas (34 by 20 feet) to gigantic tent linings (150 by 40 feet). Details include embroidery on the canopy and ornate piping. Accessories like low-slung furniture, carved wooden chairs with cushions, square tables, dhurrie carpeting, hanging lamps, and chandeliers are also available. All canopies are weatherproof, meaning that even in a torrential downpour you and your guests will be safe and dry.

Such luxury, of course, doesn’t come cheap. Rentals start at $950 per three day rental period. For a bit more, you can customize: Call them up and Raj will create a tent fit for a maharajah.

Or, in your case, an unapologetic princess.
