There’s the Rub
Zubio Chair Massage Studio

Tending to pains in the neck can be, frankly, a major pain in the neck.
Like massage, for instance. The time involved, the expense, the shocking removal of all clothing.
Not at Zubio, a recently opened chair-massage studio in the Crocker Galleria, where therapists rub out stress in ten minutes flat.
Developed by David Palmer, the Japanese acupressure technique is consistent, affordable, and effective. (He’s been working wonders on aching drones since he first brought the concept to Apple’s Cupertino offices in 1984.)
Simply lean forward in the specially designed chair and relax. Or request a foot massage if you prefer to do it bottoms up.
You can reserve one of the studio’s four chair stations online or just drop in for a quickie. If you can’t tear yourself away from the cubicle, convince the boss to hire them to come to your office.
Don’t expect oils, lotions, or other goop.
And please — keep your pants on.
Zubio, 50 Post Street, at Montgomery Street, in the Crocker Galleria (800-577-5401 or zubio.com).
