The Unanimous Declaration of the Breakfast Eaters of the Bay Area
Peoples Donuts

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all donuts are not created equal.
Breakfast eaters are endowed with certain rights: top-shelf organic grains, healthy oils, delivery by biodiesel, the pursuit of tastiness.
To secure these rights, a renegade West Oakland baker is freeing the masses from the bonds of lard and whey with his vegan Peoples Donuts.
When breakfast food becomes destructive, it is the right of Peoples Donuts to develop new recipes for a fluffy and moist cake donut, laying its foundation on such principles as colorful organic sprinkles and freedom from animal products.
Prudence dictates that donuts long established should not be changed for light and transient causes. But when a long trail of greasy napkins and bad aftertastes is left behind, it is their right and duty to provide luscious blueberry, tangy lemon-poppyseed, and pink-striped vanilla options for future eating pleasure.
Let freedom ring.
