Ticking Clock
Clock Bar Opens

8 p.m.: Deliberate over the evening’s agenda. (You just got dumped and your ego needs to get laid.)
8:15: Smack down Marina Molly’s Balboa craving. (The mayor’s engaged already.) Suggest Clock Bar, Michael Mina’s swanky new boite in The Westin St. Francis.
9: Pick up pals and discuss manscaping in cab. (Recent ex waxed his balls.)
9:23: Cabbie screeches to a halt (clearly not amused by convo). Molly suggests one of the cozy banquettes under the time zone tickers. You insist on saddling up at the bar. (You’re on a mission.)
9:25: Bartender serves up one Moscow Mule and two White Ladies (drinks, people, drinks). You get the Last Word (obv).
10:22: Ogle truffle popcorn, lamb tenderloin panini, and charcuterie plates on nearby tables. (Decide to hold out. Hooking up with full belly not ideal.)
11:46: No potential Mack Daddies. Order all of the above and devour to make yourself feel better.
2 a.m.: Clock out.
Clock Bar, inside The Westin St. Francis, 335 Powell Street, between Geary and Post Streets (415-354-2735 or michaelmina.net). Opens tomorrow. On every Monday in August, mention DailyCandy code “Magneta” and receive a complimentary second cocktail after the purchase of your first. ![]()
