Choc This Way
Coco-luxe Confections Opens

Life is hard, a little nutty, and full of surprises.
Just like Coco-luxe Confections, the Haight’s new brick-and-mortar version of the Sausalito-based online chocolatier.
The minimalist interior keeps the spotlight on the artisan truffles. Available in thirteen signature flavors (think gingerbread, chai tea, and banana split), they’re adorned with artwork, making them almost too pretty to eat (but not quite).
Nut jobs will love cinnamon candied almonds and roasted cayenne peanuts coated in milk chocolate. And if you prefer to drink your sugar, try the hot cocoa mix. Pick up a few bars, then break off a piece anytime shit happens. They come filled with things like fortune cookie bits and trail mix.
’Cause sometimes you feel like a nut — and sometimes you don’t.
Coco-luxe Confections, 1673 Haight Street, between Belvedere and Cole Streets (415-367-4012 or coco-luxe.com). Mention DailyCandy and receive 20 percent off all items through Sunday, August 10. ![]()
