Supra Tidal
What: Artist Matt Sellars visited West Seattle beaches in the supratidal zone (above the high-water mark), collecting debris, drawing, and observing the landscape, wind, and weather.
Why: The excursions led to handmade terra-cotta dingies, cloud formations carved from wood, and pencil sketches with journal-like text.
