If retro bursts of gingham (skirts), paisley (tops), and tie-dye (scarves) flash before your eyes, fret not. You’re simply experiencing Kaleidoscope Vision, the newest vintage boutique on the Hill.
Curated by a stylish trio of SF transplants, the spacious shop — located in the former Atlas Clothing space — houses a neat collection of clothing and accessories as well as antique decor and knickknacks.
Monthly rotating themes keep the focus fresh and inventory inspired. This month’s New Family motif borrows inspiration from the idealized household of yesteryear: a domestic yet glamorous matriarch (floral DVF wrap dresses from the ’70s), a manly provider-of-all father figure (men’s work wear), and well-behaved progeny (children’s Fair Isle sweaters).
Also debuting: after-hours workshops covering a range of topics — the first of which, Terrariums and Bottle Gardens, takes place tomorrow.
