What: Seattle’s burlesque A-list reimagines Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland.
Why: The all-star cast includes such favorites as Lily Verlaine, Miss Indigo Blue, Jasper McCann, Miss Inga Ingénue, and Louise Henry Hoover.

What: The South Lake Union food-truck fest is back with more than 45 cheek-stuffing options.
Why: Devour eats and treats from Jemil’s Big Easy, Off the Rez, Snout & Co., Veraci, and Molly Moon’s — in one sitting.
When: Sat., noon-7 p.m.

Pure Barre Opens

What: The popular ballet/Pilates/weights-fusion fitness studio expands with a Queen Anne outpost.
Why: Your first class is free, and a first month of unlimited classes is deeply discounted at $89 (reg. $225).

Fashion First

What: Established boutiques — La Ree, Mercer, The Finerie, Canopy Blue, and others — come together to show what’s new for fall during this annual runway show and auction.
Why: Proceeds go to Rise n’ Shine, a foundation that supports children affected by HIV/AIDS.
