The countdown is on to your big day, and by our calculations, you’ve got 235 tasks to check off your list. Before you fall in over your head, let us guide you down the aisle in style.
All You Can Meet
Wedding show season kicks off with the Urban Unveiled showcase. This year, under the direction of Seattle Bride magazine, it’s more party than vendor convention (they’ve nixed the rows of tables and boring brochures). Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, dessert, music, and a Luly Yang runway show. (Thursday, 6 p.m.; use code DailyCandy at brownpapertickets.com by 5 p.m. Wednesday to get $10 off the regularly $40 ticket. $45 at the door.)
Fit to Be Tried
Camille Lem’s dreamy new second-story Greenlake studio, The Dress Theory, carries styles by Claire Pettibone, Ivy & Aster, Tessa Kim, and Modern Trousseau. Soak up the feminine charm (blush-colored walls, sparkling crystal chandelier, gilded mirror, cozy chaises, and flowing sheer curtains).
Bridal Boot Camp
Flywheel’s amphitheater-style indoor spinning studio pumps up the jam with fast-paced DJ-curated tunes, dim lighting (let others mind their own behinds), and high-energy instructors. The FlyBride program offers six months of unlimited barre workouts to deliver fast results.
What a Pair
Putting a spin on matching footwear for bridesmaids is Hourglass Footwear, a local online shop that sells hand-painted shoes with designs as intricate as your imagination allows. Shop the predesigned selection, send in your own shoes, or commission a custom job to fit the vibe of your wedding.
Blink and You Miss It
Minimize run-and-smudge with lash extensions from The Lash Bar, inside Vida Spa. After a brief consultation, Danielle Winkels meticulously applies lashes in your desired level of volume and length (level one for very natural, level three for dramatic). She can even work in a bit of cat-eye if it suits your fancy.
Now you’ve just got 230 items on that list.
